Review for the Upcoming Black Flower Show in Raleigh, NC

Because wisdom doesn't always come from a bottle...

August 26th, 2010, 10pm

If you were here the first time they played, you saw a MIRACLE. Why? Well, these guys hit the stage and ruled so damn hard that the air conditioning went out. So we had to open the doors to cool it off. Then the cops came and slapped the bar with a noise violation... So we closed the doors... It got up to 90 degrees inside the bar that night... And you know what happened? The entire MASSIVE crowd STAYED... And jammed to these guys for the REST OF THE NIGHT. Go ahead. Google it.

Ladies and gents, back by demand of the head cheerleader and the captain of the mathletes... The Black Flower Presents: Eyes of the Elders. Funk-nasty hip-rock, with a twist of juicy lyrics cooked medium rare, and smothered, covered, and chunked with pure entertainment. The back of the stage provides the beats and the melodies, while the front of the stage hosts a David and Goliath-esque lyric-battle. Beware... The Eyes can see your soul... And your underwear.

Come one, come all... Come early. The panty-flinging groupies tend to take up prime audience real-estate with these guys... And with $4 Wells, $4 Beam & Red Stag, $4 Bacardi Torched Cherry, $2 PBR, and $1 High Life, you gotta get 'em while they're cold... And pray our air conditioning holds up this time.
